Privacy policy
Effective from: 07.11.2026. This policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with the website pieskirts.lv and the “Piešķirts” service (eligibility checks and preparation of grant and ALTUM loan applications), in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Latvian Personal Data Processing Law. This is a translation; if the versions differ, the Latvian version prevails.
1. Controller
The controller is Žanis Peiners (private individual), who provides the service under the brand “Piešķirts”. No company has been registered yet, so there is no registration number or VAT number. Contact for data protection matters: info@pieskirts.lv.
2. What data we process and where it comes from
- Application form and email data: name, company, registration number, email, phone, selected service, link or description, deadline and your message. You provide this data.
- Correspondence: the content and timing of emails if we are in contact.
- Company contact details for outreach: general company email addresses (e.g. info@) and names obtained from public sources: open data of the Register of Enterprises, other official open data and information published by the company itself (e.g. its website). We write only to legal entities at general addresses, not to personal-name addresses. If such an address nevertheless contains personal data, this section is the information required by Article 14 GDPR.
- Client work data: Applications may contain personal data of your employees, board members or beneficial owners, as well as financial and de minimis information. We process this data on your behalf as a processor under Article 28 GDPR and our contract, only for the agreed work, and store each client’s data separately.
- Technical data: the hosting provider may log IP addresses and browser information for security. We do not use analytics, tracking or cookies on the website.

We use data only to provide the service. The following providers may process it on our behalf:

- An accounting service provider and public authorities where required by law.
If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we do so only with the safeguards provided in Chapter V GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict processing, receive it in a portable format and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time: reply “No” to our email or write to info@pieskirts.lv, and we will not write to you again. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
We respond to requests without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
7. Cookies
The website pieskirts.lv does not use cookies, analytics or social media tracking, so no cookie consent is needed.
8. Security
We store data in accounts protected by passwords and two-factor authentication, with each client’s documents kept separately. We do not request or store clients’ portal passwords or e-signature credentials.
9. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when a company is registered or the services we use change. The current version is always on this page with its effective date.
